Bolters celebrate 60th anniversary

Palo Alto residents Betty and Elliott Bolter celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Friday.

The couple were married March 7, 1948, in San Francisco. They moved to their present home in Palo Alto in 1951.

The couple have two daughters, and to this day are active community members: They regularly attend exercise classes at the YMCA, worship and activities at First United Methodist Church, concerts, zydeco dances and civic events.

The Bolters will celebrate their anniversary later this year with a cruise.
